Guillotine drop 'Gouge' with Creeper's Will Gould on guest vocals

The track previews the band's new EP 'A Lesser Key', out October 16 via VENN Records

Guillotine have released 'Gouge', a new song featuring guest vocals from Creeper frontman Will Gould. It arrives ahead of the band's new EP 'A Lesser Key', due October 16 through VENN Records.

The track is built on tension, following a post-hardcore blueprint that lets the arrangement swell before it erupts into caustic instrumentation and then pulls back again. The lyrics stay earnest and direct, while Gould's unmistakable croon adds an extra layer of atmosphere on top of the band's performance.

The collaboration comes out of an existing friendship between the two camps, and the pairing gives 'Gouge' a contrast that lingers well after the final note. It's the kind of song designed to be played twice in a row.

Guillotine had already shared 'Haunted', another cut set to appear on the EP, which is available to hear now. The artwork for 'A Lesser Key' has also been unveiled alongside the new single.

With the October 16 release date locked in, the band continue rolling out material from the record ahead of its full arrival via VENN Records.
