Saosin drop new track "Just Be Honest", their second release of 2026

Saosin have released "Just Be Honest", the second new song the band has shared in 2026. The track leans toward the harsher end of their catalogue, built on hard-hitting post-hardcore riffs, vocal refrains that swing between rough and smooth, and rhythmic pulses that recall classic emo. Lyrically, it takes aim at liars and deceivers.

The song arrives after "Starting Over Again", released earlier this year, and continues to connect the group's early sound with its current line-up, featuring Cove Reber on vocals and Phil Sgrosso on guitar alongside Beau Burchell.

Burchell said the band recognised the song's potential almost immediately. According to the guitarist, hearing Reber's vocals confirmed the feeling, and Sgrosso's lead work pushed the track further. "This is really just the beginning", he said of the material the band has been working on.

Burchell also described the release as part of a much larger body of work and a new chapter for Saosin. He explained the band had not planned to put anything out this soon, but chose to move earlier because of how excited they were about the direction the songs were heading.

Saosin played Slam Dunk Festival earlier in the summer, where they discussed the current phase of the band. No further details about the full-length project have been announced yet.
